Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
In short: if you contact me, I use your details only to reply to you. I don't sell them, I don't add you to mailing lists, and I don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by Márton Nagy, web developer (“I”, “me”). For any privacy question, email hello@nagysmarton.hu.
What I collect
- Emails you send me directly, with the details they contain.
- Technical data: like any website, the hosting server may briefly log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the site running and secure.
- If I emailed you a website concept: the email contains a small image and a link to your design concept. When you open the email or the concept, I can see that (time, and the email program or browser type), so I know whether my message reached you. I don't store your IP address – only a short scrambled code to recognise repeat visits. You can avoid this by not loading images in your email program, and you can ask me to delete it any time.
Why, and on what legal basis
I use your details to answer your inquiry and, if you ask for it, to prepare a website mockup or an offer. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in replying to messages and keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long I keep it
I keep messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, and delete them no later than two years after our last contact – unless we work together, in which case the retention rules for business records apply.
Who else sees it
Your message is delivered by email, so my hosting and email providers process it on my behalf. Nobody else receives it.
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is transmitted to Google.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies, and no tracking or advertising tools are used.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy of it – just email hello@nagysmarton.hu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
